From June 17 to 19, 2025, Potenza hosted the YESDGs Hackathon, an international event focused on innovation and youth empowerment aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Organized by PFE together with all project partners, and with the valuable support of our local partner ASCAE, the event brought together young people from across Europe.
During these three days, participants worked in international teams to tackle four major global challenges related to critical themes such as health, environment, peace, and sustainability. Through creativity and determination, the groups developed concrete and innovative solutions capable of making a real difference.
The YESDGs Hackathon was not only a moment of intercultural exchange and collaboration but also a unique opportunity for personal and professional growth, certified by a participation certificate and Youthpass awarded to all young participants. Additionally, one team was recognized with a prize for the most innovative and impactful project.
The work accomplished during the event culminated in the YESDGs Manifesto, a document summarizing the collective commitment of the participants, which was presented to institutions, civil society organizations, and youth to promote positive change on a global scale.
